Experienced Able Seafarer (AB) needed for RORO vessel SUECIA SEAWAYS trading under DFDS. You will be part of the deck team, supporting safe navigation, cargo operations, and general seamanship on board.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring and unmooring operations
- Handle cargo and RORO ramp operations as directed
- Perform lookout and helmsman duties as required
- Carry out maintenance, painting, and cleaning on deck
- Follow all safety procedures and support emergency drills
- Work closely with officers and crew to keep the vessel safe and shipshape
- Requirements:
- Valid AB deck certificate and STCW documents
- Previous experience on RORO or similar cargo vessels preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team
