Join OSM Thome as Pumpman onboard our oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will be a key part of the deck and cargo team, ensuring safe and efficient cargo and ballast operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain cargo and ballast pumps, lines and valves
• Assist with cargo loading, discharging, stripping and tank cleaning
• Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance of cargo system equipment
• Maintain pump room and cargo areas in a safe and tidy condition
• Support deck crew with mooring and unmooring as required
• Follow all safety, environmental and company procedures

Requirements

• Experience as Pumpman on oil/chemical tankers
• Good knowledge of cargo and ballast systems and pump room operations
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
• Ability to work safely in enclosed spaces and hazardous areas
• Good English communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work on worldwide trading routes
