OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Able Seafarer (AB) to join our chemical tanker fleet trading worldwide. Sail with a professional crew, keep high safety standards, and support safe cargo operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out deck watchkeeping duties and lookout as instructed by the officer on watch
- Assist with mooring, unmooring, anchoring, and cargo operations
- Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, chipping, and painting
- Handle deck equipment and participate in drills and safety routines
- Follow all safety procedures and company instructions at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid AB deck certificate and seaman’s documents
- Previous tanker experience, preferably on chemical tankers
- Valid STCW certificates, including tanker familiarization as required
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
