OSM Thome is looking for experienced Able Seafarers (AB) to work on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. Sail with a safe, professional crew and handle day-to-day deck work on a busy tanker fleet.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out mooring, unmooring, anchoring and cargo-related deck operations
- Perform lookout and steering duties as required by bridge team
- Assist with tank cleaning, maintenance and deck upkeep
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills and inspections
- Support officers in daily deck and cargo operations
- Requirements:
- Valid AB (Able Seafarer Deck) certificate
- Experience on oil and/or chemical tankers
- Valid STCW certificates and tanker endorsements as per rank
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea service and ready for worldwide trading
