Join OSM Thome as a Fitter on board a Container Vessel trading worldwide. We are looking for a hands-on, safety-minded seafarer who can keep deck and engine equipment in good working order and support smooth vessel operations.

• Key responsibilities:
• Carry out steel repairs, cutting, welding and fabrication jobs on board
• Maintain and repair pipelines, structures, brackets and foundations
• Assist engineers with maintenance of machinery and equipment as required
• Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized
• Support general deck and engine department tasks as instructed by officers

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Fitter on ocean-going vessels, preferably container ships
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
• Good skills in welding, gas cutting and use of related tools and equipment
• Basic English communication skills for work and safety
• Team player with a responsible attitude and strong safety awareness
