OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 2nd Officer for a Fast Supply Vessel (FSV) trading offshore Israel. You will work in a safe and professional operation, supporting offshore activities and bridge team duties.
- Key responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watch and assist the Chief Officer and Master on the bridge
- Plan and execute voyages, including route planning and position fixing
- Assist in cargo and deck operations for offshore supply work
- Monitor safety, navigation and communication equipment
- Keep charts, publications and bridge logbooks updated
- Support drills, safety routines and company procedures
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW II/1 or II/2 CoC suitable for 2nd Officer position
- Previous experience as 2/O, preferably on FSV or other offshore vessels
- Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates
- Valid medical certificate and seaman’s book
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety attitude and ability to work in a multinational crew
