Join OSM Thome as Master on an oil/chemical tanker trading in Mexico. Take command of the vessel, lead a safe and efficient operation, and support a strong onboard team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Overall command of the vessel, crew, and operations
• Ensure safe navigation, cargo operations, and mooring
• Maintain high standards of safety, seamanship, and discipline onboard
• Oversee ISM, ISPS, and company procedures
• Liaise with charterers, terminals, agents, and authorities
• Lead and mentor officers and crew

Requirements

• Valid Master Mariner (STCW II/2) license for oil/chemical tankers
• Recent experience as Master or Chief Officer on oil/chemical tankers
• Valid tanker endorsements and STCW certificates
• Strong command of English, spoken and written
• Proven safety record and good leadership skills
• Medically fit for sea service
