OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Master for Oil/Chemical Tankers trading worldwide. Take command of a well-managed vessel and lead a safe, efficient and professional operation at sea.
- Key responsibilities:
- Overall command of the vessel, crew and cargo operations
- Ensure safe navigation, mooring and port operations
- Maintain high standards of safety, security and environmental protection
- Oversee loading, carriage and discharge of oil/chemical cargoes in line with procedures
- Lead and motivate officers and crew, ensuring good discipline and teamwork
- Ensure compliance with company policies, flag state, class and international regulations
- Requirements:
- Valid Master (Unlimited) CoC
- Strong experience as Master on Oil/Chemical Tankers
- Up-to-date STCW certificates and tanker endorsements
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Strong safety mindset and proven leadership skills
- Medically fit for sea service
