Set sail as Chief Officer on a chemical tanker with OSM Thome, trading worldwide. Take a leading role on deck and in cargo operations, and support the Master in running a safe and efficient vessel.

• Key responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise deck crew in all deck and cargo operations
• Plan and oversee loading, discharging and handling of chemical cargoes
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental and pollution-prevention procedures
• Maintain and update cargo plans, stability, and ship’s documentation
• Oversee deck maintenance, inspections and drills
• Stand bridge watch as required and assist the Master in navigation and ship management

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Officer license for chemical tankers
• Relevant sea-time as Chief Officer 
• Valid STCW certificates and tanker/chemical endorsements
• Strong knowledge of cargo handling, safety and international regulations
• Good English communication skills and proven leadership onboard
