OSM Thome, IWS is looking for an experienced 2nd Officer to join an Offshore Service Operation Vessel (SOV) operating in Danish waters. You will support safe and efficient vessel operations, navigation, and offshore activities for the wind sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Officer and Master in navigation and watchkeeping
• Plan and execute safe passage, including route planning and position fixing
• Carry out bridge watch in accordance with COLREGs and company procedures
• Support DP operations and offshore work related to SOV activities
• Maintain charts, publications, and navigational equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and company regulations
• Participate in drills, safety meetings, and onboard training

Requirements

• Valid STCW II/1 or II/2 license suitable for 2nd Officer position
• DP full certificate
• Experience as 2/O or OOW on offshore vessels, SOV or similar types preferred
• Valid medical certificate and offshore certificates as required
• Strong navigation and watchkeeping skills, including ECDIS
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to work in a wind/offshore environment
