Join OSM Thome as Motorman / Oiler on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will work closely with the engine team to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently on board.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in daily engine room operations and maintenance
- Carry out routine checks, lubrication and cleaning of machinery
- Support bunkering, transfer and handling of fuel and lube oils
- Maintain engine room tools, equipment and work areas in good order
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler (MTM) license and STCW certificates
- Experience on oil/chemical tankers preferred
- Basic engine room and machinery knowledge
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for sea service and willing to work in a mixed-nationality crew
