We are looking for an experienced Able Seafarer (AB) to work on a RORO vessel under DFDS.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mooring and unmooring operations safely
• Handle loading and securing of RORO cargo, including lashing and unlashing
• Assist with navigation watchkeeping and lookout duties as directed by the officer on watch
• Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and greasing
• Operate deck equipment and follow all safety procedures
• Take part in drills and emergency response as per vessel procedures

Requirements

• Valid AB Certificate and STCW basic safety training
• Previous experience as AB, preferably on RORO or similar vessels
• Valid seafarer medical certificate, passport, and seaman’s book
• Good spoken and written English for shipboard communication
• Fit for hard physical work on deck and able to work in a watch system
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work well in a mixed crew
