Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) on board DFDS RORO vessel.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with mooring, unmooring and securing the ship
• Carry out general deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
• Handle ropes, wires and deck equipment safely
• Keep decks, gangways and working areas clean and tidy
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles and cargo
• Support bridge and deck officers as directed
• Follow safety procedures and take part in drills

Requirements

• Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) documents and seaman’s book
• STCW basic safety training and other mandatory certificates
• Good seamanship and experience on board (ROPAX or similar vessel an advantage)
• Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
• Basic English communication skills
• Team-player attitude and willingness to work in shifts
