Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operating offshore in the United Kingdom. You will be part of a professional deck crew, working safely and efficiently to support offshore operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out mooring, anchoring, and towing operations
- Assist with cargo handling, deck maintenance, and watchkeeping
- Operate deck equipment and carry out routine checks
- Follow safety procedures and take part in safety drills
- Support officers with daily deck and bridge tasks as required
- Requirements:
- Valid AB Certificate and STCW basic safety training
- Previous experience as AB, preferably on PSV or offshore vessels
- Valid medical certificate and seaman’s book
- Holding Profic. in Fast Resc. Boats Cert. - STCW 2010 A-VI/2.2 and Slinger and Banksman certificate will be considered an advantage
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team
