Join our crew as Bosun on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will lead the deck ratings, keep the vessel safe and well maintained, and support safe cargo and mooring operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise deck ratings in daily deck work
- Plan and carry out maintenance of deck, fittings and equipment
- Organize and take part in mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
- Assist with cargo and tank cleaning operations as required
- Keep work areas, tools and safety gear in good order
- Support the ship’s safety, security and environmental routines
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Bosun on oil/chemical tankers
- Valid Bosun/AB certificates and seafarer documents as per STCW
- Tanker endorsements and familiar with ISGOTT and safety procedures
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Team player with strong safety and work ethics
