Join OSM Thome as a Wiper on a RORO/ROPAX vessel trading in Sweden. Be part of a professional engine crew, keeping machinery and engine spaces clean, safe, and running smoothly.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engine room officers and ratings in daily engine room operations
- Carry out cleaning, wiping, and maintenance of engine room equipment and spaces
- Help with bunkering, lube oil transfers, and storing of engine room spares
- Follow safety procedures and take part in drills
- Report any damage, leaks, or malfunctions to senior engine staff
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates for Wiper/Engine rating as per flag and trade
- Previous experience as Wiper or engine rating on RORO/ROPAX or similar vessels preferred
- Good command of English; Scandinavian language skills are an advantage
- Medically fit for sea service with valid medical certificate
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong safety awareness
