Join OSM Thome as Electrician (ELEC) on an offshore accommodation vessel / flotel in Brazil. You will be responsible for safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical systems and equipment on board.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical and electronic equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in power distribution, lighting and control systems
- Support engine room and deck teams with electrical work as required
- Follow onboard safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
- Keep maintenance records and update technical documentation
- Requirements:
- Certified electrician with relevant seagoing or offshore experience
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems and equipment
- Valid STCW certificates and medical suitable for offshore work
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work safely in a multicultural offshore environment
