Join OSM Thome as Motorman / Oiler on a PSV trading in the North Sea. You will be part of the engine room team, keeping machinery in good and safe working order to support offshore operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with operation and routine maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and machinery
- Carry out oiling, greasing, cleaning and basic engine room upkeep
- Monitor machinery readings and report any abnormalities
- Support bunkering, fuel transfer and other engine room operations
- Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in the engine room
- Requirements:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler (MTM) certificate and STCW documents
- Previous experience as Motorman / Oiler, preferably on offshore / PSV vessels
- Good knowledge of engine room routines and safe working practices
- Medical fitness and required offshore / sea survival certificates
- Ability to work in a small team and handle North Sea operational conditions
- VALID WORK PERMIT FOR UK
