Join OSM Thome as a Welder on board an offshore construction vessel, working worldwide. You will be part of the deck and construction team, carrying out safe and accurate welding jobs to support marine and offshore operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting and basic fabrication on deck structures, equipment and pipelines
• Carry out repair and maintenance jobs as instructed by the supervisor
• Read and follow drawings, welding procedures and safety instructions
• Use welding, cutting and grinding tools safely and keep equipment in good condition
• Follow all safety rules and permit-to-work systems during hot work operations
• Work closely with deck and engineering crew to support construction activities

Requirements

• Proven sea or offshore experience as Welder
• Valid welding certificates (e.g. SMAW, FCAW or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of hot work and safety practices on board
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and welding symbols
• Valid offshore / marine medical and relevant safety trainings
• Good English communication and ability to work in an international crew
