Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a car carrier trading worldwide. You will be a key leader onboard, supporting the Master and ensuring safe, efficient deck operations and cargo handling on international voyages.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Master in the safe navigation and operation of the vessel
• Plan and supervise cargo loading, stowage, securing, and discharging of vehicles
• Lead and manage the deck crew in day-to-day operations and maintenance
• Oversee stability, draft, and ballast operations
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ISM/ISPS procedures
• Maintain deck logbooks, records, and reports as required

Requirements

• Valid Chief Officer (Unlimited) license
• Recent experience as C/O or 1/O on car carriers or similar vessels
• Strong background in cargo planning and securing of vehicles
• Good knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety standards
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
• Good English communication skills
