Start your seagoing career as a Wiper on board a bulk carrier with OSM Thome. You will support the engine department in keeping all machinery and spaces clean, safe and in good working order while sailing worldwide.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engine crew with daily engine room routines
- Clean and maintain engine room and machinery spaces
- Support basic maintenance under supervision
- Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
- Take part in drills and emergency duties as assigned
- Requirements:
- Valid seafarer documents and medical fitness certificate
- Basic safety training (STCW) completed
- Good English communication skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a team
- Fit for physical work in engine room environment
