Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer onboard A Nepita. You will support safe navigation, cargo operations and bridge routine, working closely with the Master and Chief Officer.
- Key responsibilities:
- Stand bridge watch and ensure safe navigation at all times
- Plan and update voyage and passage plans
- Operate and monitor all bridge and navigational equipment
- Assist with cargo operations, stability, and ballasting as required
- Maintain charts, publications, and navigational records
- Take part in drills, safety rounds, and emergency response
- Support ISM/ISPS and company procedures on board
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer / OOW (Deck) CoC compliant with STCW
- All mandatory STCW certificates and valid Seaman’s Book
- Good watchkeeping and navigational skills with ECDIS experience
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork attitude
- Good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Previous experience in a similar rank preferred
