Join OSM Thome as a Fitter on our Oil/Chemical Tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional crew, keeping the vessel’s steelwork and machinery in safe and good working condition.
- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out steel repairs, cutting, grinding and welding jobs onboard
- Maintain and repair pipelines, brackets, supports and tank fittings
- Assist engine and deck crew with maintenance and repair work as needed
- Support safe cargo and bunker operations with related fitting jobs
- Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work systems at all times
- Requirements:
- Previous seagoing experience as Fitter, preferably on Tanker vessels
- Good skills in welding, cutting and basic machining
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Good English communication skills
- Team player with a strong safety mindset and readiness for worldwide trade
