We are looking for an experienced Casino Desk Manager to join Royal Caribbean's Group onboard Casino team. This position is ideal for candidates with strong cash handling experience, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service in a dynamic international environment.

As a Casino Desk Manager, you will oversee the daily cashiering operations, supervise and support the cashier team, ensure financial accuracy, and maintain the highest standards of guest service while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.


Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Casino Cashiering team.
  • Lead, coach, and train casino cashiers to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all cash handling, balancing, reconciliation, and financial reporting procedures are completed accurately.
  • Monitor cage assets, vault security, and key control in accordance with company policies.
  • Authorize and process casino financial transactions, including chip exchanges, cash advances, credit card transactions, and other monetary services.
  • Maintain accurate daily financial records and prepare voyage reconciliation reports.
  • Provide outstanding guest service by responding professionally to inquiries and resolving concerns efficiently.
  • Monitor casino activities and report any suspicious behaviour or security concerns.
  • Coordinate with Casino Management regarding VIP guests and high-value players.
  • Ensure all equipment and cashiering supplies are maintained and operational.
  • Participate in casino counts and other operational procedures.
  • Support a positive, safe, and professional working environment while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and competence:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory cash handling experience in a casino, hotel, banking, financial institution, or similar customer-focused environment.
  • Previous experience supervising or leading a team is required.
  • Experience in a cruise ship casino is considered a strong advantage.
  • Excellent cash handling and reconciliation skills.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve guest concerns professionally and diplomatically.
  • Strong numerical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to accurately count cash, casino chips, and coins.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Previous experience using cashiering or casino management systems is an advantage.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Additional languages such as Spanish, French, or German are considered an asset.
  • Must be medically fit for sea service and able to pass a Seafarer's Medical Examination.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform duties in a busy operational environment.
  • Capable of participating in all mandatory emergency drills and safety procedures onboard.
