Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on an offshore Service Operation Vessel (SOV) in Brunei. You will support safe and efficient engine room operations, working closely with the engineering team to keep all machinery running smoothly.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary engines and machinery
- Carry out regular checks, readings and routine inspections in the engine room
- Perform planned maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting as directed by senior engineers
- Monitor fuel, lube oil, cooling water and other consumables
- Ensure engine room safety, housekeeping and compliance with company and statutory rules
- Keep accurate engine room logs and maintenance records
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or equivalent) STCW license
- Previous sea service in engine department; offshore or SOV experience an advantage
- Valid STCW basic safety and other mandatory certificates
- Good English communication and teamwork skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical and offshore certificates as required
