- Key responsibilities:
- Carry out deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Assist with cargo and mooring operations as directed
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge and deck watches
- Handle mooring ropes, wires, fenders and gangway duties
- Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times
- Support officers and senior crew with daily deck jobs
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates and seaman’s book
- Previous experience as OS, preferably on tankers
- Tanker familiarization and basic safety training
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Team player with a positive and safety-minded attitude
