  • Duration: 12 months (renewable).
  • Rotation: TBC.
  • Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly paid only while working.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Degree or diploma in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Eligibility to work in Italy through EU citizenship or a valid work authorization.
  • Experience supporting offshore pipeline installation, welding, coating, or similar marine operations.
  • Working knowledge of welding and/or coating equipment, consumables, and associated tooling.
  • Ability to coordinate equipment planning, logistics, and supplier activities across multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with equipment certification, maintenance planning, and inventory control.
  • Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and technical reports is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in English; additional languages are beneficial depending on project needs.


Tasks:

  • Plan and coordinate the availability of welding and coating equipment throughout each project phase, from tender support to offshore execution.
  • Review project requirements and define equipment, tooling, and material needs in collaboration with engineering and vessel teams.
  • Prepare equipment and material requests while ensuring timely mobilisation and delivery.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vessel personnel, and logistics teams to manage equipment readiness and consumable supply.
  • Oversee equipment preparation, testing, acceptance activities, and compliance with certification requirements.
  • Monitor equipment performance, spare parts usage, and consumable levels during offshore operations.
  • Support purchasing activities for consumables and replacement parts in line with operational requirements.
  • Develop cost estimates and track budgets related to equipment mobilisation and maintenance.
  • Coordinate technical support, training, and resource planning for vessel-based technicians.
  • Provide technical assistance during mobilisation, commissioning, and project start-up as required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and operational performance through regular reviews and reporting.
