Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Degree or diploma in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Eligibility to work in Italy through EU citizenship or a valid work authorization.
- Experience supporting offshore pipeline installation, welding, coating, or similar marine operations.
- Working knowledge of welding and/or coating equipment, consumables, and associated tooling.
- Ability to coordinate equipment planning, logistics, and supplier activities across multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with equipment certification, maintenance planning, and inventory control.
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and technical reports is an advantage.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English; additional languages are beneficial depending on project needs.
Tasks:
- Plan and coordinate the availability of welding and coating equipment throughout each project phase, from tender support to offshore execution.
- Review project requirements and define equipment, tooling, and material needs in collaboration with engineering and vessel teams.
- Prepare equipment and material requests while ensuring timely mobilisation and delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers, vessel personnel, and logistics teams to manage equipment readiness and consumable supply.
- Oversee equipment preparation, testing, acceptance activities, and compliance with certification requirements.
- Monitor equipment performance, spare parts usage, and consumable levels during offshore operations.
- Support purchasing activities for consumables and replacement parts in line with operational requirements.
- Develop cost estimates and track budgets related to equipment mobilisation and maintenance.
- Coordinate technical support, training, and resource planning for vessel-based technicians.
- Provide technical assistance during mobilisation, commissioning, and project start-up as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and operational performance through regular reviews and reporting.
