Join OSM Thome, IWS as 3rd Officer on a CSOV working offshore France. You will support safe navigation, deck operations and offshore service work for the wind industry. This role is well suited for officers who want solid sea time and hands-on experience in offshore operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the bridge team with navigation, watchkeeping and voyage planning
- Support all deck operations, including mooring, anchor handling and transfer operations
- Carry out safety rounds, drills and inspections as directed by senior officers
- Assist with maintenance of navigation and safety equipment
- Follow company and vessel procedures, ensuring safe working practices at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW license as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW)
- Previous experience as 3/O or Deck Officer; offshore or DP vessel experience is an advantage
- All mandatory STCW certificates up to date, including medical fitness
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work well in a mixed, international crew
