Join OSM Thome as 4th Engineer / Junior Engineer on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. Work with an experienced engine team, gain solid hands-on experience, and build your career at sea with a stable and reputable company.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in safe and efficient operation of main engine and auxiliary machinery
- Carry out routine watchkeeping and engine room rounds
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as directed by senior engineers
- Support bunker operations and monitoring of fuel and lube oil systems
- Keep engine room logs, records, and maintenance reports updated
- Follow company safety, environmental, and permit-to-work procedures at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid 4th Engineer / Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) CoC
- Tanker (oil/chemical) experience preferred or relevant tanker training (TAS/Advanced)
- Valid STCW certificates, medical fitness, and seaman’s documents
- Good English communication skills
- Team player with a safety-first attitude and willingness to learn
