- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring and unmooring operations
- Carry out lookout and gangway watch as assigned
- Support deck maintenance, chipping, painting, and cleaning
- Handle lashing and securing of container cargo
- Follow all safety procedures and instructions from officers
- Requirements:
- Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) license and seaman’s book
- STCW basic safety training and valid medical certificate
- Experience on seagoing vessels, preferably container ships
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for sea service, safety-minded, and willing to work in a team
