Step aboard a passenger ferry in Europe as Chef de Partie with OSM Thome. You will help deliver tasty, well-presented meals for passengers and crew, working closely with the galley team in a safe and clean kitchen at sea.
- Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes for passengers and crew to set menus and standards
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily galley operations
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and galley cleanliness
- Follow stock control, portioning, and waste reduction routines
- Work safely in all sea conditions and follow company procedures
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Chef de Partie or similar role, preferably at sea or in large-scale catering
- Culinary education or equivalent professional training
- Good knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer medical, or willingness to obtain as required
- Ability to work in shifts, under pressure, and as part of an international crew
