Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will work as part of an experienced deck crew, supporting safe cargo operations and vessel maintenance while building your seagoing career.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
- Carry out deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge watch as required
- Handle lines, fenders, and deck gear safely
- Follow company safety procedures and permit to work systems
- Support tank cleaning and cargo-related deck work as instructed
- Requirements:
- Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) license and basic STCW certificates
- Previous experience on tankers preferred (oil/chemical an advantage)
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Team player with a safety-first attitude and willingness to learn
