OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join an offshore Fast Supply Vessel (FSV) operating in Luanda, Angola. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer to keep all engines and machinery running safely and efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Engineer with daily operation and maintenance of main engines and auxiliaries
- Carry out planned maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on engine room equipment
- Monitor and record engine parameters, fuel and lube oil consumption
- Ensure safe and clean engine room operations in line with company and IMO standards
- Assist with bunkering and stock control of spares, oils and consumables
- Support safe vessel operations during manoeuvring and offshore supply activities
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2) CoC for seagoing vessels
- Previous experience as 2/E, preferably on offshore or fast supply vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and offshore medical
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Strong safety mindset and good teamwork skills
- Available to work in rotation based in Luanda, Angola
