Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on a RORO/ROPAX vessel trading between the Netherlands and England. Sail in a stable trade, work with a professional crew, and support safe and efficient deck operations.
Open Position for Rotation 8 week on / 4 week off
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
- Handle cargo and vehicle operations on RORO/ROPAX decks
- Stand watch and assist on the bridge as required
- Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning and painting
- Follow safety procedures and assist in drills and emergencies
- Support officers and crew in daily shipboard duties
- Requirements:
- Valid AB deck certificate and STCW documents
- Sea experience as AB, preferably on RORO/ROPAX or similar vessels
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Team player with safe working attitude
