Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on an offshore support vessel working in the North Sea. You will be part of a skilled crew, keeping all electrical and electronic systems safe, reliable, and ready for operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical, electronic and automation systems on board
- Monitor power generation and distribution, including main switchboard and emergency systems
- Troubleshoot faults in navigation, communication and DP systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and keep accurate technical records
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and class requirements
- Support engine and deck teams during cargo and offshore operations
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates
- Experience as ETO on offshore or DP/support vessels
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
- Good English communication skills, spoken and written
- Medically fit for sea service and willing to work in North Sea conditions
- Hands-on, safety-minded and able to work independently and in a team
