Lead Mechanical Technician

• To ensure all maintenance activities undertaken on the facility are, and remain aligned to company / client business goals, in terms of Safety, Environmental Discharges, Equipment performance and maintenance cost.
• Actively participating in embedding values and culture, identifying and reporting any areas that are deficient so that improvements can be made.
• Demonstration and acceptance of walk down, pre-check of system for handover.
• Lead day to day planning and execution of all Mechanical activities.
• Process safety review of equipment and systems pre-start-up.
• Effective delivery of planned maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures.
• Competency profile attained against discipline plan.
• Effective delivery of assigned work scopes in accordance with process, procedures and plans.
• Work executed safely in timely manner.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and removal of low value activities
• Suggest changes to mechanical equipment to improve plant safety, efficiency and reliability.
Minimum Qualifications:
Technical apprenticeship or an equivalent training scheme
Level 3 VQ - Mechanical Maintenance
MJI10 (PF010) Hand Torque Bolted Connection Techniques- Stage 1
City & Guilds Competence in Process Plant & Equipment Isolations
BOSIET / MEDICAL
Emergency Response Team
Job-Specific Skills:
Previous experience in operations & maintenance role (upstream or downstream)
Offshore experience
Fluent English
