Key responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Officer and Deck Officers in navigation and watchkeeping
- Take part in cargo operations, tank inspections, and line-up checks
- Support mooring, anchoring, and berthing operations
- Carry out safety rounds, checks, and maintenance of deck equipment
- Follow company and industry safety procedures at all times
- Assist with record keeping, logbooks, and reports as required
Requirements
- Valid Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW) license
- Tanker endorsement for oil/chemical tankers
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Good English communication skills
- Previous sea service as Deck Cadet or Junior Officer is an advantage
- Safety-minded, willing to learn, and ready to work in a team
