- Job Title: Painter.
- Project: Self-Propelled Jack up.
- Location: Qatar.
- Rotation: 56/28 or 112/28 on/ff.
- Contract duration: 12 months.
- Salary: Please confirm your realistic wage expectations when applying in EUR/USD/GBP. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated Monthly (paid only when working, not when on leave).
- Start date: ASAP.
- Working days/ hours: 12 hours per day. 7 days per week.
- Overtime: Applicable on top of every extra hour of work.
- Insurances: Provided by the company.
- Travel: Prepaid Economy class ticket at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation cycle.
- Employer: Our client, a drilling and construction contractor.
Mission
- Ensure the performance of painting activities following Foreman instructions and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements/ Qualifications/Competence
- English Language skills required.
- Minimum of 3 years as a Painter within Hook Up Oil & Gas.
- Ability to perform blast cleaning and painting.
- High School/ Secondary diploma.
Tasks
- Perform painting works in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
- Follow daily instructions given by Foreman.
- Ensure painting works are carried out according to the applicable painting procedure.
- Verify the equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and report any anomalies to Foreman.
- Ensure coordination with the adjacent works to minimize coactivities and avoid unsafe conditions.
- Follow the permit-to-work statement.
- Ensure the housekeeping of the work location.
