Set sail with OSM Thome, IWS as an Able Seafarer (AB) on modern Service Operation Vessels (SOV) working offshore Denmark. You will be part of a stable deck crew supporting safe offshore operations for the wind industry in the North Sea.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
- Handle lines, fenders and deck gear during port calls and offshore operations
- Assist with gangway operations and personnel transfer as directed
- Perform watchkeeping on deck and bridge lookout duties
- Take part in maintenance, painting, cleaning and general deck work
- Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills
Requirements
- Valid AB certificate and seaman’s book
- STCW basic safety training and medical fitness certificate
- Previous offshore or SOV/wind farm experience is an advantage
- Good spoken English
- Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to work in a busy offshore operation
