- Key responsibilities:
- Stand bridge watch and ensure safe navigation
- Plan and update voyage and passage plans
- Operate and monitor navigation and communication equipment
- Assist Master and Chief Officer with deck operations and paperwork
- Participate in safety drills, inspections and crew training
- Maintain charts, publications and bridge equipment
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW license as 2nd Officer / Officer of the Watch
- Experience on bulk carriers preferred
- Valid STCW certificates, medical, and passport
- Good English communication skills
- Team player with strong safety mindset and work ethic
