Join OSM Thome as Motorman / Oiler on a RORO/ROPAX vessel trading in UK waters. You will be part of a professional engine team, helping to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and machinery
- Carry out routine engine room rounds and log readings
- Perform lubrication, cleaning and basic repair work as directed
- Support bunkering and fuel transfer operations as required
- Follow safety procedures and keep engine spaces clean and in good order
- Requirements:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler (MTM) certification and STCW documents
- Experience on RORO/ROPAX or similar vessel type preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to learn
