Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system during all DP operations
- Keep safe position of the vessel alongside offshore installations and units
- Assist the bridge team with navigation, watchkeeping, and vessel handling
- Follow all company and client safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
- Complete DP and bridge logs and report any system issues immediately
- Support planning and execution of offshore operations and moves
Requirements
- Valid STCW Officer of the Watch (or higher) CoC
- DP Basic and DP Advanced / Full DP certificate
- Recent experience as DPO on offshore support vessels
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical and offshore certificates
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in an international crew
- Holds UK work permit
