OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operating offshore United Kingdom. Sail with a professional crew and take charge of the vessel’s electrical and electronic systems to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic equipment onboard, including power generation and distribution systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation, control and navigation systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and keep accurate technical records
- Support safe vessel operations by responding quickly to electrical faults and alarms
- Work closely with the Master, Chief Engineer and other officers to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements
Requirements
- Valid ETO CoC and required STCW certificates
- Previous offshore / PSV experience preferred
- UK National or holding UK Frontier Work Permit / UK Skilled Visa
- Strong background in marine electrical and electronic systems
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea service and able to work in a mixed-nationality crew
