OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Roustabout (RBT) to work offshore on FPSO/FSO operations in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. If you are used to hard work at sea and want steady offshore rotation with a solid marine crew, this job is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out deck and cargo handling duties as directed by the Crane Operator and Deck Foreman
- Assist with hose handling, tank cleaning and general deck maintenance
- Operate basic deck equipment and tools safely
- Support mooring operations, supply boat operations and cargo transfers
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in drills and toolbox talks
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards
Requirements
- Previous experience as Roustabout or similar offshore deck position
- Valid offshore certificates (BOSIET/FOET or equivalent)
- Basic safety and survival at sea training
- Good physical condition and ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a team
- Basic English communication skills; Portuguese is an advantage
