Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operating in UK waters. You will support safe navigation, cargo operations, and deck routines in a busy offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Stand watch on the bridge, ensuring safe navigation
- Assist the Master and Chief Officer with passage planning and vessel operations
- Monitor DP operations as required and support offshore supply activities
- Carry out ISM/ISPS, safety and environmental procedures and recordkeeping
- Oversee deck crew when assigned and support cargo and deck operations
- Participate in drills, inspections and maintenance of safety and navigational equipment
Requirements
- Valid STCW II/1 OOW license suitable for service as 2nd Officer
- Offshore / PSV experience preferred
- Valid STCW basic safety training and relevant offshore certifications
- DP Full certificate
- UK National or holding UK Frontier Work Permit / UK Skilled Visa
- Good watchkeeping, navigation and shiphandling skills
- Good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
