Join OSM Thome as an Electro Technical Officer (ETO) onboard an Offshore PSV operating in United Kingdom waters. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical and electronic systems onboard.
- Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems
- Carry out inspections, testing, and planned maintenance of control, navigation, and communication systems
- Support safe and reliable operation of DP, automation, and alarm systems
- Ensure electrical safety procedures and standards are followed at all times
- Keep accurate maintenance records and report defects and repairs to the Chief Engineer
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all mandatory STCW certificates
- Previous experience as ETO, preferably on PSV or offshore vessels
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic, and automation systems
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea service
- UK National or holding UK Frontier Work Permit / UK Skilled Visa
