Motorman/Oiler needed for PSV offshore in UK. Join OSM Thome and support safe, efficient vessel operations.
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Motorman / Oiler to join an offshore PSV trading in UK waters. You will work closely with the engineering team to keep all machinery and engine room systems running safely and efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with daily operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary engines
- Carry out regular oiling, greasing and cleaning of machinery and equipment
- Perform engine room watchkeeping and routine checks, reporting any abnormalities
- Support planned maintenance, repairs and bunkering operations as required
- Follow all safety procedures and keep engine room and workshops clean and tidy
- Requirements:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler (Engine Rating) certificates in line with STCW
- Previous experience as Motorman / Oiler, preferably on offshore or PSV vessels
- UK National or holding UK Frontier Work Permit / UK Skilled Visa
- All mandatory STCW safety courses and valid seafarer medical
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for offshore work and willing to work in a busy engine room environment
