OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Bosun to join A NEPITA. You will lead the deck crew and take care of all deck maintenance and mooring operations to keep the vessel safe and in good order.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise deck ratings in daily deck work
- Organize and carry out chipping, painting, greasing and general maintenance
- Arrange and oversee mooring and unmooring operations
- Look after deck equipment, ropes, wires and safety gear
- Follow company safety rules and support safe working practices
Requirements
- Valid STCW certificates and seaman’s documents for rank Bosun
- Proven sea service as Bosun on similar vessels
- Strong leadership and communication skills with deck crew
- Good knowledge of deck maintenance, mooring gear and safety procedures
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
