OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join an offshore construction vessel operating in UK waters. In this role, you will ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of all electrical and electronic systems onboard.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical, electronic and automation systems onboard
- Carry out planned maintenance on power generation, distribution and control systems
- Troubleshoot and rectify faults in electrical equipment and instrumentation
- Support safe operation of DP systems, navigation and communication equipment
- Maintain technical records, reports and spare parts inventory
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure vessel safety and reliability
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates
- Valid UK Work Permit or UK Frontier Visa
- Previous experience as ETO, preferably on offshore / construction or DP vessels
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for sea service and willing to work in UK sector
