Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on a Chemical Tanker trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional engine team, supporting safe and efficient operations of all machinery and systems on board.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries, and related machinery
- Carry out routine checks, inspections, and planned maintenance
- Maintain and troubleshoot engine room equipment and systems
- Keep engine room logs and records up to date
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and international regulations
- Support bunkering, transfers, and other engine room operations as instructed by senior engineers
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Enginee license, STCW compliant
- Chemical Tanker experience preferred
- ME engine experience required
- Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker certificates as required
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a multinational crew
- Medically fit for sea service with valid medical certificate
